So, Oh Mummy is due to be released on the Mega Drive this November. Bizzare. Might have to get a Mega Drive.

nice ,hopefully they put in a new longer music soundtrack, the cpc music was a little too repetitive for me.

Looks good and in keeping with the original game. The dark tomb level looks fun.

Yes but thankfully it looks like neither format. May have to invest anyway as I used to play this with my mom.

The music was horrid, but typical of early 8bit games.

It was an Amstrad game, which was ported to the Spectrum. You seem to have forgotten it was also ported to the MSX as well :D And more recently iphone.

As a retro gamer forum, I'm sure a few would disagree. Moot point as regardless of format it wasn't that great a game, though it was free. Why didn't someone remake Disco Dan instead. Lol.

I would have preferred bridge it instead.

If you want to be a pedant it's just a rip-off of Amidar anyway.

I'm going to have to try Amidar, everyone keeps mentioning it whenever Oh Mummy is brought up. Oh Mummy was a Game I played alot back in the day on my beloved CPC so I expect it is partly the rose tinted glasses effect i'm experiencing. That said the game is strangely compelling...

I think it might have been inspired by Amidar or maybe coincidently similar.
