Megadrive 2 AC Adaptor Question

Post by Rockford » Sun Dec 31, 2006 2:36 pm

I found my old Megadrive in my loft. Only thing is that it is missing it's AC Adaptor (Megadrive 2 type). Can I set a multi-voltage adaptor to work?

Here's the info from my Megadrive 2 adaptor (UK spec):
10 volts
850 mA
the connector has a postive tip / center, negative ring / outer. The connector itself is a slightly unusal shape, but I have a couple of multi-adaptors which fit it; the tip is yellow plastic with a central hole bisected by a rectangular slot (rather than just a hole)

Your multi-adaptor will have to be able to deliver at least 805 milliamps at 10 volts (on the ones I have the ampage varies depending on the voltage selected)

You could buy one from eBay.
