Hi,
I see the developers of the original Giana Sisters are making a follow up. They're looking to raise development/publishing funds through kickstarter - but struggling to get 100% with only 7 days to go. I see Chris Hulsbeck and Machinae Supremacy are doing the music

(surprised this hasn't been posted on the forum already - tried a search for "giana kickstarter" but it came back empty)

For what it's worth I really enjoyed the iOS port of Giana Sisters, I thought it played very nicely
I'd definitely buy another title if it was released, wouldn't fund it though. I hate the idea of actually stumping up my cash for a product still in development.
Those visuals look a bit lame as well, 3D doesn't suit

So the sisters have been reduced to begging for money? Times are tough, eh?
They should have got a good, dependable, job like those Mario brothers. People will always need plumbers.

Wise fwom your gwave!!!
I saw this just earlier tonight and wondered whether there was a thread (haven't been following RG much lately). I think this is it, assuming the Kickstarter project was the to-be-released-soon Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams. It's going to be available on GoG and Steam tomorrow (in about one hour, in Steam's case).
For those who've not seen it, there is a video on GoG's store page ... impressive ...

I've reviewed this for Retro Gamer this month

It's a great little game, but I really don't like the difficulty spikes in it. It's probably a high 7 for me. I'd love to see where the franchise goes from here though.
