Celebrities in games
Talking about proper ones here.
With the Moonwalker thing when Jackson died, (prices for the game went insane) wonder if ones with other celebs will go up when others die?
Will people pay over the odds for crap like Shaq-Fu, Keith Chegwin's party quiz and that sodding Westlife one when there respective peoples die?

Here is a nice obscure one for you:

With regards to a more recent passing, I don't think Jocky Wilson's Darts suffered from "Moonwalker Syndrome".

Vin Diesel was cool in Chronicles of Riddick Escapce From Butcher Bay. Was better than the film (Pitch Black was awesome though). Never played The Wheelman though but heard good things.

Remember when Tia Carrere was in The Daedalus Encounter? Man, I could barely keep myself from wanking at that scene in Wayne's World when she was wearing that snake, so when she showed up in that game? I. Was. Done.
I do like that games are being seen as viable jobs by bigger actors. I think Rip Torn's performance in God of War III was one of my favorite big-name appearances in a game. Vocally, he fit the part of Haphaestus perfectly.

Re: Celebrities in games
ron perlman in the fallout games "war never changes" fits perfectly for me.
mark hamill in wing commander and the voice of the joker in this gen batman games.there was quite a few in the wing commander games, never played them myself so without looking it up i couldn't list them.
i don't think any of these would climb in price if any of them carked it.

What about impersonations? I know it wasn't James Earl Jones narrating Colony Wars ("When I was very young, the Earth Empire filled the skies. The Czar and his battle fleet saw everything, knew everything - punished... everything".) but whoever it was was trying awfully hard to sound like him...

Just thought of another one, Christopher Lloyd, Doc Brown from Back To The Future.
He featured in Toonstuck, that point and click adventure game on the PC.
