Best console for FMV and Laserdisc games

Post by Shinobi » Fri Jul 13, 2012 12:15 pm

Saw a boxed Phillips CDI and was tempted to buy it, for Voyeur, 7th Guest and all that sort of stuff.. I know a lot of people think the Genre is limited but I really like most of the games.. Now if any console could emulate Super Don Quoxite, I'd get it in a heart beat

The CD-i is a great machine to own if you like FMV games.

Have a look at my review guide for the console - http://www.retrovideogamer.co.uk/index.php?page=philips

Despite lacking some replay value I find them a lot of fun too

While we're on the subject of CD-i, Jagfest, is the Flintstones/Jetsons game worth anything? There's been a copy stuffed in the CD rack at a local charity shop for years and I always mean to pick it up out of curiosity.

Ah, fair enough. Cheers.

Oh, and as for the OP... the Mega CD is an obvious choice if you want FMV games. There's loads of the horrid things on there.
