Whos Getting a SD2SNES Then??

Post by Lettuce » Wed May 30, 2012 7:50 am

I personally cant not wait for this device to be available, will mean i dont have to swap game cartridges in and out all the time, and be a life saver for my snes cardboard boxes :D ........but what i wasn't expecting was the support for homebrew stuff using the SNES hardware. Just came across Super Road Blaster, SNES CD anyone??.......

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THJvsIezXrQ

I didn't even think the SNES hardware would of been capable of something like that, just goes to show it was memory capacity verses cost that was holding the SNES back!.

Would love to see a true Arcade port of Final Fight, but still retaining the SNES sound and look

Nothing beats plugging in an original cart. If your worried about your boxes, why dont you just keep your boxes displayed as usual, but keep all your carts in a separate container, so you never need to play around with the boxes

I see where your coming from but as long as its being played on the correct hardware its more than enough for me. Plus means i actually might be able to play the likes of King Of Demons on the hardware, without paying ridiculous eBay prices :P

Hopefully there will be an option where is saves the game state when exiting a game, so will keep high scores on games

I just don't have boxes, at least not for my Game Boy games. Mega Drive boxes are robust so I don't mind them at all.

Well i guess you wouldnt need a very large box for all of the 12 Jaguar games that were released

It would be a bit harder for the 100+ snes games i have :(

I have over 50 snes games and keep all of the carts in a nice plastic container. Pretty each to store really.

Nice device overall, be handy to play those games that are stupidly expensive on real hardware.

You don't know the library at all then. There are over 50 Jaguar CD games & demos

There are flash carts and Skunkboards if you want to play LEGAL roms.
