The WWE games have gone FIFA (one every year, with very few changes) but at least this time, we have a new roster with wrestlers from the Attitude Era. It's not much, but at least there will be some new content this time.
I'd love for a FIFA game to have teams from the past (more than 2 or 3 like it was last time I played a FIFA game)

dude are you friggin kiddin me?

the attitude era is just the start of what is new in WWE 13

universe mode is now 100% under your control

you get to choose what brands represent ppvs or both

you can create shows before you click start show

branching story lines

ability to turn certain story lines on and off and injuries

you can now edit the title shot rankings

their are over 300 new cut scenes for story designer

the all new OMg moments

create an arena which is supposed to have a massive amount of detail

THEIR IS SO MUCH NEW STUFF IN THIS GAME

the thing im most worried about is the servers.

i watched the video monday and cory starts talking about the problem with WWE 12s servers which according to him was too many people trying to do searches at the same time

never once did he guarantee that the same problem would not occur again

the servers on wwe 12 are a disgrace, they are completely broken and rendered large parts of the game completely useless.

that is what happened last year with wwe 12
Absolutely. And all the DRM and whatever will be stripped out of it. It's just a fact of life nowadays, and that shouldn't impede your enjoyment.

Hell, if people get a load of censored for free they're not going to be interested in playing it for long. They'll just move on to whatever else has downloaded while they played their cracked WWE 13. Pirates can be ignored, since they were never going to pay for a copy anyway. :)

Is that why you created these 2 separate threads last year just to complain about how bad WWE 12 is? :?

This one:

http://www.retrogamer.net/forum/viewtop ... =2&t=31779

AND

http://www.retrogamer.net/forum/viewtop ... =2&t=31752

(that thread has you complaining that it was too similar to Smackdown vs Raw 2011, so I'm REALLY confused now)
Sig pic temporarily removed...The Magnificent 7 will ride again 8)

This is why I'm so unsure about 13. I like the look of it, I've done my normal sports sim skip a game so it's more different then it would be and think I could enjoy this with all the changes. A big part of that however involves my being able to go on the servers and download things though and if they don't work I'm screwed, only reason I'm not preordering just yet (though inevitably will cave...)

that is what i thought at 1st

basically what i was doing was writing the game off without getting into it properly

my opinion of WWE 12 changed as time went on

apparantly this game is out in the middle East

so their are people playing this game in the middle east

while people from the likes of the USa and UK are still yet to have all of the games full details revealed to them. their is still not a full review or anything

you have to love THQ they have such a great way of doing things

Where have you heard that? I'd be very surprised if THQ released a game in one of the smallest markets open to it first.

Thinking of picking up the 360 version next week (when my work schedule dies down a bit). The Attitude Era slant is the deal-maker, no question about it.
