Okay played all three versions and the c64 version is the worst definitely. Graphics not too bad, awesome music (jean michelle jarre cool!), but its too chunky and really doesnt play well. :(

Speccy version plays superbly and very responsive, decent enough graphics and nice sound. :)

Amstrad version takes the speccy version gameplay and makes it look nice and wins it. :D

err why are we bringing this back exactly? Surely this is more of a forum thing then a feature that should actually be in the magazine? Naturally I if i had the time I'd be trying to get into the magazine aswell :) From a forumite view its a fun way of possibly getting into the mag, from a subscriber point of view I wish the pages were used for something else as I don't really relish paying to read forum posts in a magazine...

Isn't the aim to have more community involvement? Might help bring new people on board :D

Has anyone seen the GameCenter CX episode where Arino plays the NES version of BombJack? That's was fantastic... and a game I probably won't see the ending to :-)

exactly... i know from the makers point of view its a dream way of getting free and easy content into the magazine, and its nice for people who post on here a lot to get a chance of being in the mag, but from a subscribers point of view i feel a bit short changed by it taking up space in the magazine that could be used for something else. However, I'll likely be a hypocrite and want to get involved if you have super mario world or something one month, as its such an easy way to say "hey im a published writer lol" if your forum comment ends up in the magazine.. :D

Cool. I remember playing it in the arcades, and then when the Speccy version came out I was so blown away that I must have spent hours playing it.
