It is a pretty amazing game and a lot more open world than other platform games at the time.

Castle of Illusion is possibly one of my favourite. Whether it's the MD or SMS version, it had all that element to it which made it very special.

Also I used to play The Lucky Dime Caper and Duck Tales too, which prove to be another smart platformer.

Aladdin on the Mega Drive, definitely. It was the 2nd Mega Drive game I ever played (we got Sonic 2 whilst our cousins got Aladdin). I know that game backwards! Great soundtrack too, and still a bit of a challenge on the harder difficulty level.

World of Illusion is the 2nd favourite, it's up there with ToeJam & Earl, Streets of Rage 2 and Kuri Kuri Mix as one of the best co-op games around. And none of those other games have the mad library level.

Definitely Lucky Dime Caper. Not just my favourite Disney game, but my favourite Master System game, and one of my favourite games full stop.

It would be the Kingdom Hearts series for me. Fantastic games.

I also love the Illusion games on MS/MD, and The Lion King on MD - although I never did manage to beat Scar! Duck Tales on the NES is another favourite, played that to death as a kid.

Seconded the Aladdin on the MD. Terrific fun and nice looking game.

Adored Toy Story on the Mega Drive. I always loved/felt guilty about hearing that my Grandfather travelled 75 miles to Edinburgh just to find a place that had it in stock that Christmas. Remarkable!

If Kingdom Hearts counts then ill go with that. Id love to know who came up with the idea of fusing Final Fantasy with Disney. It must have looked like a ludicrous idea on paper but i think they work so well because the stories in each carry the same concepts. Bonds of friendship, courage, overcoming evil.

Otherwise ill choose Land of Illusion on the Master System. Castle of Illusion gets a lot of praise but ive only played the MD version and i hear the MS version is superior.

I'm a big fan of Duck Tales 1 & 2 on the NES and Game Boy. Duck Tales 2 is a little on the easy side but can still keep you going for a while if you're looking to find all the secrets and get the special ending.

I also really, really enjoyed Mickey's Speedway USA on the N64, thought it was much better than Mario Kart 64.

I'm with the o.p. on this. Quackshot was amazing. Vastly underrated.

Aladdin's soundtrack is probably one of my favourites of the 16-bit era. It's even better on PC, as it was one of the few games that did't just use FM synthesis. So we got proper drums for a change. The graphics are also fab, looking just like the cartoon. Great game!

So many great titles. Lucky Dime Caper and the 'Illusion' games were all fantastic, but I think Aladdin was probably the best of the bunch.

Also, does Split/Second Velocity count?
