My first console was the SMS, I was bowled over by it when when a friend of mine showed it to me. Rocky was simply amazing. That was soon followed by the all conquering PCE, my favourite console of all time :D . Unfortunately up until the arrival of the SMS I had to make do with an 800XL and then A CPC 464. Dark days indeed!

I never really had console's much in my early gaming life, it was computers for me!

The first console I owned was a megadrive. Loved it but eventually decided to swap it for an amiga as I needed a computer to do other things and could not afford to keep both.

However I now have 2 of them to re-live the old days!

The first machine we had was an Amstrad CPC - I have fond memories of taking turns on Freddy Hardest with my whole family (we had a Dixons compilation including that, Batman, Game Over, Phantom Club and a few others).

The first console we had was a Master System II. My two brothers and I clubbed together to get one with Sonic, Spider-Man and Populous. We had some great times with that console, lucky enough to get a game on Christmas and Birthdays too.

My first computer was a ZX81.

My first console was a SNES. I still owned an amiga at the time. My friends thought I was mad to pay £40 for a SNES game.

They were probably right!

My first console was the Mattel Intellivision and I loved it, even though I could only ever afford to buy 5 more games in addition to the 5 I got with it :(

My first console was the Mattel Intellivision not until about 1983 tho. Only had 7 games but they were classics like Astrosmash and Night Stalker :)

Atari VCS. Got it in the late seventies with my paper round money. I still have it but it doesn't work very well now so I used one of those wedge shaped ones these days.

My first console was shared between me and my brothers and sister and that was the megadrive 2 console. I dont know where the original went but i bought myself one with the games that i grew up with.Wonderboy 3 monster lair, megagames 2 and dj boy. My dad used to rent out a couple of games every friday after work.
We had an atari 2600 and a colecovision but they seemed to always be there

I had a commodore 64 with the hollywood nights pack and a trivial pursuit pack. It was Rambo over the Krypton Factor any day of the week! It was such a good pack too, you got Rambo 2, Great Escape, Miami Vice and Platoon. They were all great fun, Miami Vice fun for the wrong reasons.

If console though, my first was a SNES with Mario All Stars. Great times.

A Commodore 64 with loads of games.

We bought it off a neighbour who didn't want it anymore when we lived in some flats for military personnel in Germany in the 80's.

Don't remember most of the games, half of them didn't work, half I didn't understand the controls for, but we did have a floppy disk drive for it rather then a tape deck which was good.

I don't know where it is now, think we gave it to my Uncle to try and fix when it eventually broke.

Around Xmas 1987, I had the Atari 2600 Jr. Use to play a lot of Asteroids and Centipede which was a good port back then.

I think it would have been an Atari 2600. Loved that machine. I'm sure we had a Binatone, like the one Bub n Bob, posted as well though I'm not sure which came first.

Neither of these were mine specifically, although it was me who played the Atari most. I didn't have many games, Pac-Man, Combat, Missile Command I can recall having, so I would rent games from the local video shop.

Mine was an Atari Video Computer System (some people get them mixed up with 2600's ;) ) with Combat & Defender which still works perfectly today.
