I think its very possible that Mighty No. 9 will see some sort of physical release. Both Asian and European physical editions have been teased so I'll be keeping a very close eye on those.

There is a nice lot of 2D stuff on the Vita. Lots of nice 2D fighters, platformers and a couple of shoot em ups. There are even more if you go for digital games, having stuff like Super Meat Boy, 1001 Spikes or La Maluna on the go is awesome.

Has anyone had a chance to grab A Boy and his Blob yet? Its a port of the awesome Wii game, I'm waiting until I'm paid next week to grab it but I'm hoping its at least as good as the Wii version...

Also, Limited Run Games has announced that they are releasing a limited edition physical copy of Oddworld New n Tasty Edition for the Vita. This pleases me because it'll make a great game for my collection, plus it means I'll have a little more free space on my memory card!
Also, Limited Run's next physical release goes up on sale next Friday - its a indie RPG "Saturday Morning RPG". I'll be sure to try and grab a copy when it goes on sale...

Finished Motorstorm RC. What a fab game. Even bought the DLC and maxed that out too.

And a free platinum when I fired up the PS3 version. :)

Nicely done. I'm stuck on the last few trophies on the main game (getting trophies through the pit wall) and I'm stuck on getting one or two stars on one piece of DLC. Certainly a fab, if incredibly frustrating game at times (camera and AI seem to be the work of the devil at times!).

I've mainly been playing Lego Avengers and Darius Burst myself. Both of which are really good and seem to offer plenty of content to play through.

The graphics in Darius Burst are especially tiny, it seems strange given that the Vita already has a widescreen that Darius should be extra widescreen. But I know that all comes down to the aspect ratio of the arcade. Still it makes for a cramped, minuscule experience. It's still a good game though, those bosses are hugely tough.

Thankfully there are two different modes in Darius, one of which doesn't use the ultra wide screen ratio so the graphics are much larger. Can't say I have an issue with the size of the graphics though, I was worried I'd not be able to see the enemy shots but that fear has proved unfounded so far. I really love the bosses as well, a few are really challenging, but they aren't insane bullet hell type bosses so I find them much easier to deal with after learning their attack patterns.

I couldn't resist the fancy edition of Persona Dancing for under £40 courtesy of Amazon.
Turns out it wasn't so fancy when opening it, they just shoved all the extras into the oversized box and filled the gaps with packing peanuts. Even the DLC code was a sticker on the shrink wrap rather than the printed slips I've got with other games.

The urge to get a Vita is growing stronger...even though I'm broke & I still have an obscene amount of half played games on my PSP.

That's an odd thing with the Vita, it can offer amazing value like getting what many feel are several of the best games on the system bundled in that pack, frequent sales and the library long-term PS+ subscribers have built up.

Yet it can also be expensive due to the ridiculous memory card prices, low print runs, imports and the tendency for Vita owners to want to buy absolutely EVERYTHING.

Lumines is £8 at Gamescentre btw.

I know what you mean about wanting everything (well, pretty much everything). The Vita library is nicely varied, I probably have more different genres covered on my Vita than any other console on my collection!

I've been fairly quiet on the Vita purchasing front at the moment picking up stuff for other platforms, but this week my copy of Saturday Morning RPG turned up. Really pleased that I got my copy, since its a limited run game it'll probably be one of the harder games to track down in the future (not to mention the game looks pretty fun in its own right!)

Meanwhile, I'm playing through Lego Avengers on my Vita. Really like this one, since I really like the Marvel movies. Levels are all based on the first two Avengers games so all the set pieces are covered and its all put together really well. Definitely up there as one of my favourite Lego games on the platform.

Looks like the PSTV is no more in Japan.

I never even tried my PSTV... Sony screwed up by not making every game compatible with the PSTV as standard. Plus different region PSTV's have different compatibility lists, so a Japanese port of a game might work with a PSTV, but the Euro port may not. Its a mess really :(

Whilst it is sad, it will still continue to work won't it? Or am I missing something?

Some games such as 'Killzone Mercenary' and 'Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus' are infinitely more playable on a big screen using a PS3/PS4 controller!

I agree with ShadowMan though, the fact that some games aren't compatible is quite poor!
