I'm assuming it plays like all the other marvellous games but the girls turn into cars. Will try and look at it later.

Has anyone played GOD WARS Future Past? It looks like a fun SRPG. Gotta get RPG maker on 3DS this Friday but after that I'll get back to buying vita games.

Drive Girls looks fun. Will have to look into it.

Been thoroughly addicted to Lumines Electronic Symphony recently. It's like digital crack. Are the original PSP games worth looking at after playing the Vita version?

Any idea how good Drive Girls is Darren? Meta critic has given it high marks and it's out off stock on most websites including Shopto
ShopTo have got them back in stock... my copy arrived today. I'll let you know my feedback later, but it's refreshing to have an arcade style game on the Vita. Don't get me wrong, I love all the RPG stuff we've been getting (can't wait for Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana) but Drive Girls looks great fun...
A new YS when's that out,as I loved YS Mask of the Sun? Very short for an RPG but went through it twice it was so good and nearly have platinum

Drive Girls is as good as it looked part scrolling beat up and part Ridge Racer pure racing against other cars. The first 2 training levels in the confined arena was a bit slow but was showing you the moves. The main scrolling beat em up bit is great giant monsters, loads of moves including some really powerful rage moves. You can be the car whenever you want and most of the girls are selectable

Limited Run games said they are releasing Axion Verge

Yes they did, but had to pull out over legal reasons.. Both Limited Run and Kotaku reported this as I'm not omniscient and I've never heard off badlands . I paid £2 On digital, and finished it so I'm alright so that's all that matters

Same here, going to pre-order YS in case I miss it? Did you buy from Shopto.. any other YS games get a Vita release other then the YS Origins limited Run.

Yes, I've pre-ordered from ShopTo for around £30 (with my Gold membership discount)... Grainger Games have it at £29.99, Amazon at £39.99 and several smaller eBay shops are also taking pre-orders.

In terms of other Ys titles on Vita... 'Ys: Memories of Celceta' had a physical release back in 2012 and is still fairly cheap to buy; and then of course there are several PSP titles on the Playstation Store: 'Ys I & II: Chronicles', 'Ys: The Oath in Felghana' and 'Ys Seven' - all of which are reasonably priced.

I don't think they did, they said they "wanted to release it", find me a quote where they say they "are releasing it", totally different things...

I was always under the impression they just wanted to release it.
In other news I just managed to get dariusburst from them.

Been continuing my collecting spree on the Vita, I've now added another OLED Vita to my collection (complete with another 64GB card) since it seems impossible to find any new stock for Vita's in this country any more. Plus my launch Vita is really getting on, its battery has definitely seen better day!

Plus three more random games arrived this week:

The new Vita

Picture doesn't really do it justice, its in excellent condition (the screen especially). Now I can finally divide my digital library and any games with large patches between my two main Vita's since I've had to juggle downloads recently since I'm out of space on the first Vita.

Have you played this yet? Any good? I'm playing Xblaze: Code Embryo and am trying to decide what to buy next. Either YS VIII or Fate / Extella: The Umbral Star

Ys is fantastic stuff. I've played the demo of VIII (on the PS4) and loved it. I'll be doing a run through of the series games on the PSP/Vita starting as soon as I'm done with Tokyo Xanadu (which should only take a day or two now).

Anyway, my latest arrivals:

The Japanese game looks like a brain training/learning kind of game. Ah the games I buy at 3am... Got a few more coming as well!

Yes, YS VIII is excellent as expected! I've also got Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star too and is also excellent. If you want an intelligent RPG, go for YS VIII, if you want a text heavy Dynasty Warriors clone go for Fate/Extella!

I've found myself playing both on Playstation TV (looks great) rather than the Vita itself... I keep asking myself should I have just bought the PS4 versions!
