Hello all!! Newbie alert!

Post by TheGamesShed » Thu Feb 16, 2012 8:46 am

Hi all,

Thought I would make a quick post to say hi and introduce myself.. (Not sure if you even do that round here)

My names Mark and I recently got into reliving the old days through emulators on my pc.

Cant get enough of it now and have found it to be a bit addictive!! :)

Anyway I played this last night

And found it to be very hard and very boring but at the same time it was great to play Konamis first football offering..

Welcome to the form ! Emulation has been a way for many people here to get back into retrogaming.

Ahoy-hoy!

About time we got some new blood into the forum, people seem to have been leaving in droves recently. One day it'll just be me and Jagfest endlessly arguing about the Wii.

Welcome to the forum. Nice avatar - ISS64 was, probably still is, my favourite arcade footie game. I played it to death back in the late 90s. Are you emulating the N64 or do yo have the hardware? I never managed to get much joy emulating it, it's a long time since I tried though, and when I did I missed using the N64 controller.

Welcome sir, emulation's the best thing ever, isn't it? First ever emulated game I played was... Cool Spot probably. Go and play that :D

Hello there - hope you've stuck with Konami's offerings, I ain't no EA turncoat! 8)

Think Super Mario Kart was the first game I ever emulated. As for ROMs - well it depends which consoles/computers and types of game you like. We can't provide links here for legal reasons but good old Google will set you right.

MAME, that is all! You are spoilt for choice. An Xarcade stick or wired 360 pad and you're good to go!
