When you pull a bag over someones head and start punching them and kneeing them it feels pretty good for a short time and then the guilt kicks in.. :)

The blind guard in that cave in Skyrim, now I know that he's blind I feel guilty for the charging in and decapitation he received. Mind you my mate was crueler, he stole his brail booke and replaced it with a skill book he'd read. Poor bugger just sits there unaware of being alone and unable to read to pass the time :(

I always felt a little uneasy when you had to ruthlessly massacre an entire police station in the Getaway..

I feel a little sorry for the enemy soldiers in various FPSes sometimes.

Surely some are just conscripts? They can't all be nazis/fanatics/merciless drones. Some probably just fell in with the wrong crowd and could be set straight with a good talking to.

They don't seem to show any compunction about killing me, though.

I feel pretty sorry for the various animals you slaughter in Xenoblade Chronicles. You get sent out to murder these poor creatures for quest reasons, most of which are much smaller than you and don't bother you in any way.

Most of them are just minding their own business, not hurting anyone.

Always felt sorry for the cannon fodder enemies that have appeared at the start of every shmup ever created - starting with that poor first row of skulls in Space Invaders - the recruiting sergeant on their planet must have done a great job!!!!

The Sims 3. Some youtube death videos are a bit extreme.

For me, while I can agree with the colossi in Shadow of the Colossus, I do have a few others.

1. Every patient I've killed off in Theme Hospital by sending them for treatment long before the diagnosis was complete

2. The enemy imps in Dungeon Keeper - they're just so harmless against any trained creatures (even a fly)

3. The Great Glacier Pollensaltas (The enemy you fight to get the Alexander Materia) - not only do you have to antagonise her just to fight her, but you loot her property afterwards...

Y'know, most of the examples given in the posts aren't really enemies as such...

You sick ****s!
