Someone here made a game called "Rocky Memphis and the Temple of Ophuxoff".
Very similar in genre.

I'll start playing my way through the ones you've mentioned. Some I've already played: The Dizzy games are awesome and one day I might actually manage to finish Spellbound so I can move on to the next one ion the series.

There's also the Magic Knight series of games: Finders Keepers, Spellbound, Stormbringer and erm... there's another but I can't remember what it's called :oops:

edit: Knight Tyme... came to me as soon as I posted the above :D
