Puzzle platformers
I'm looking for some decent retro puzzle platformers. Played Limbo, Braid, Winterbottom, Blocks That Matter on Xbox, and am currently playing my way through Escape Goat as well.
Aside from Monty on the Run and Solomon's key, what other games in a similar genre (Megadrive/Master System/C64/SNES/NES/GBA)can you recommend? Not really into RPGs.

When you think you've got problems you don't really need,
They're maybe not as bad as they seem,
Cos in a world full of misery, with hatred and greed,
Your problems are another man's dream.

Re: Puzzle platformers
Donkey Kong '94. It's a GB game best played on the Super Gameboy but I suppose it will be fine on a GBA if you don't have one (unless you only have a micro).
I'll mention Drill Dozer (GBA) too but I'm not sure it's strictly a puzzle platformer, either way it’s a great game.

Re: Puzzle platformers
If memory tests a la Rick Dangerous count as puzzle platformers, maybe the Master System version of Aladdin - talk about trial and error!

Metroid perhaps?
Beavis and Butthead (suprisingly an ok game)
Cadash maybe? More of an arcade hack and slash with RPG elements though
Lode Runner
Wiz'n'Liz

Re: Puzzle platformers
If you happen to own a Wonderswan, Klonoa Moonlight Museum is heavily puzzle orientated. Lots of block and switches puzzles that are genuinly difficult.
I asked for orange. It gave me lemon lime!

Jack the nipper and the Wally week series from microgen spring to Ming as well worth checking out. Also somerassault on the PC engine which is kinda part puzzle, part platformer and part shooter.
