Not too flush at the mo, but don't want to end up missing out on a copy and probably would prefer a first edition at that. The later volumes interest me more, but guess I would need to get the first one from a completest point of view. :D Well done for putting all that work in to what looks a fab read.
Only the full color hardcover version will be limited, this paperback will always be up. Kindle is on the way, iBook and Nook will be early 2013.

This book sounds phenomenal, hats off for getting it finished. In an ideal world I'd have the hardback version in a heartbeat, due to severe lack of space I'll have to go digital, any rough idea on the prices of the digital version?

Just placed my order. I cannot wait to read this - am a huge nut for books on video game history and the personalities involved.

Are there still plans for a Vol 2?

Thanks,
Tabe

The missus got me a copy for Christmas, and I was really stunned by the sheer amount of content, and very well written so far too!

Really impressed and can't wait to get stuck into the book fully! ... So far very good :)

If by early backer you mean Kickstarter, as we've said before there's logistics to deal with. This being self-published through a print on demand service, we have to buy the books (which we have to do in blocks because it's coming out of pocket - we haven't gotten any money from sales yet. We also have to pay full shipping charges as well, Amazon doesn't cut us a super saver deal on shipping). Then they have to get to Curt, who has to sign them and then be shipped off to me to sign, and then shipped off to the people from there. We have the first block of ten over by him. Curt has been in the hospital the last few weeks and is now facing his 4th heart surgery. Those first 10 will go out to backers before his next surgery, and we'll go from there.
