I've been trying to get hold of a copy of Count Duckula 2 on the CPC for ages but I've literally only ever seen it come up on eBay once. I had it in my watch list and forgot to bid on it like a muppet.

Re: Game Hunting - What Games are you Trying to Acquire?
Nothing ridiculously rare or expensive, just a question of getting enough spare cash:
Game Gear:
Sonic Triple Trouble
OutRun
Virtua Fighter Animation
Fatal Fury Special
Saturn:
Hang On GP
NiGHTS
X-Men: Children of the Atom
Bust-A-Move 3
Jaguar:
Tempest 2000
Super Burnout
Sensible Soccer
SNES:
Plok
Kirby's Ghost Trap
Yoshi's Island
Also Samurai Shodown Anthology (any version), Sega Rally (PS2), Marvel v Capcom 2 (Xbox or PS2).
That's just some of them, but I'm struggling to think of more right now.

I had no idea Moho on the DC was rare. i just checked the (probably massively overmistic) prices on ebay and nearly fell of my chair. I must have picked that up for a fiver at most.sscott wrote:Rayman on Jaguar, MoHo on Dreamcast, not much really.

Stunning find, for me that would be very dangerous as I would be bound to leave my VMU in the cab being the king of the absent mind!!DreamcastRIP wrote:I just read the Wikipedia entry for that game and discovered this, gmintyfresh wrote:I've heard Saturn Alpha 3s a cracking port and I know a few people that think it's better than the DC version!! I seem to remeber that it's got one of those special RAM carts that adds extra content to the game - probably why it's so expensive!!
"Street Fighter Zero 3 was re-released for the arcades in Japan in 2001 under the title of Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper (officially promoted as Street Fighter Zero 3↑). The game was released for the Dreamcast-based NAOMI hardware (rather than the original game's CP System II hardware) and features all the added characters from the console versions of the game. Upper also allows players to upload any customized characters from the Dreamcast version of the game by inserting a VMU into a memory card slot on the cabinet."
How cool is that?!

Re: Game Hunting - What Games are you Trying to Acquire?
There's not much I'd like to own that I don't have already tbh. Some that do spring to mind though would be,
Rainbow Islands: Putty's Party (WonderSwan)
Tetris (WonderSwan Color)
Vib Ribbon (PS1) - I keep hoping this game sees a PSN release one day
Puchi Carat (PS1) including the paddle controller
Xenon 2 (CDTV) which is largely compatible with Amiga CD32
Donkey Konga 2 (GC)
... and some of those PC Engine collections for PSP
One I'd like to own but never realistically will as I'm unwilling to splash out the typical minimum of $600+ it takes to acquire it would be Battlesphere Gold (Jaguar). Even then, that'd only be for 'collecting purposes' as after playing it at group meet-ups I soon decided the game wasn't really my cup of tea.

Super Mario World on GBA, I'm not fussed enough to buy it (plus theres a lot of fakes on ebay/amazon etc to be wary of) but would love to pick it up on a trade.
Pratty's trade list, updated (May 2019)!

This person has only seen 2 of these in existence
http://www.defconsoft.co.uk/special-edi ... press-kit/
Obviously that's not mine, but it's the exact thing I have. Wow. Didn't realise it would be quite that rare! It's bagged up at the moment from a house move, but I'm bunging a load of stuff up for sale so I'll take pics and post 'em.

Nice
I really like the minimalist aesthetic of the box art design. Far better looking than the cutesy cartoon nonsense present on so many other games of Japanese origins. Seems you may have quite a rarity in your games collection there.

Yep, quite unexpected, really.
This is it here - it's an old photo I took one time before when I was trying to find out about it.

Sega Saturn
Outrun (re-release playable on model 2 Saturn).
I hate having to play my disc in an emulator and i'm not gonna buy another console just to play it. Although it would be worth it.

How is this different to the perfect Saturn conversion of Outrun on Sega Ages?
