it is 64 bit... but i did some google searches, and turns out for some reason on my msconfig > advanced, the "max memory" was ticket at 4gb. cleared it, and it's now reporting 8GB again. must have been like that since i had it...
actually, scratch that, maybe it got changed when i was getting increasingly desperate with trying to get Dragon Age working on a 64 bit windows 7

I was looking at upgrading earlier this year, the prospect of moving to 64bit really doesn't appeal to me. But then to get a decent set up I'll need it. I use so many legacy programs it would probably end up being a nightmare. I only just upgraded from XP to 7 as is.

it wasn't really a conscious decision for me. my laptop died, i wanted a desktop again, and i only needed a base unit. got a decent deal for it, and that's what it came with. i work from home (either overtime or during the day from time to time), so it was handy to have something that works - we use windows 7 in the office too, so i know all my multimedia programs would work!

im about an hour in now on the ps3 version.OOH its brilliant. i was never really a fan of oblivion but this 1 seems different. it reminds me of the feeling you had when you played the ocarina of time for the 1st time in 1998

hope so...

mine arrived today, characters look a little better but it's the environment that looks most improved, more natural.look up when your in "the queue"at the start, the clouds look spot on after great sun glare.it froze twice near the start but only for about 4 seconds then continued,i thinks it's the autosave kicking in.there was a 58mb patch download.
i also have the official guide so if anybody wants anything looked up let me know, alchemy recipes, what you need to build certain armour or if your faced with choices on a mission and want to know what each choice will mean.i'm not bothered about storyline spoilers but others might so it would be best to pm me the last one.
to those playing what's your race and why?
mine is dunmar/dark elf because that's what i chose for morrowind(although i only played an hour)and oblivion, the fire resistance came in handy in oblivion i don't think the same will be true this time.

"i swear the thing is evolving before my eyes,if you see something this big with eight legs heading towards you let me know,i have to kill it before it develops language skills"

Couldn't wait so I got it through STEAM. It's downloading right now. First full price game I've bought since Left4Dead2 came out.

Jesus, it's taken 2+ hours now to get it and it's still not finished downloading. STEAM must be totally compromised with this release lol....

Just gave it a quick half hour of play. Liking it so far.
Playing it on 1920x1080 @ medium settings for now, until my new graphics card arrives.
Could probably push it further but it looks pretty good as it is.

I'm aching to play this game but, at the same time, I'm thinking inevitable bugs, crashes, save-game corruption, patches, etc. I think (hope) it will pay to be patient with this one.
