Not played it but the Wii game is great so I can't see how they could balls it up.

Generally reviews seem to be positive, though Eurogamer only awarded it a 6 and said:

"GoldenEye 007: Reloaded is a serviceable shooter, but it lacks the spectacle of Call of Duty, the tactical options of Deus Ex or Crysis, and the urgency of FEAR. In their place it has, well, not much. Some will admire its simplicity - and there is something to be said for its casual approach. But the sad fact is that just as Bond was succeeded by Jason Bourne in the cinemas, his gaming legacy has also been usurped by those he inspired."

I haven't played any of the games they compared it to so maybe I had low expectations with the Wii version. The only fault with it I found was the lack of bots in local multiplayer, but then again at least they included local multiplayer which some FPS games don't even bother with nowadays. And obviously the game has the plus of playing as Bond rather than just some random marine/space marine.

It should also be said that Goldeneye 007/Reloaded is much more of a "re-imagining" rather than just a graphics update of the original, there are a lot of changes to the original game and movie.

Realy? I much preferred the pointer controls, each to their own though.

Had no problems using the included Gold CCPro. What were you using? It does offer CC, GC or Wiimote+Nunchuk as options.

Does the PS3 version utilise a PlayStation Move plus Navigation Controller control scheme so to ape Wii's Wii Remote plus Nunchuk control scheme for this game?

Indeed. I had absolutely no problems playing it on the Wii at all with the Classic Controller Pro, it felt almost exactly like any CoD game I've ever played on the Xbox 360 or PS3, and there's plenty of other options (as ALK mentioned) too, you're not restricted to the nunchuk and Wii Remote or anything like that....saying it will be 'much better' on the 360/PS3 because of the controls is absurd.

As others have said, you could use the controller pro or even a Gamecube controller on the wii version.

Although there is something to be said for wiimote controlling in multiplpayer when you need to be a bit quicker off the draw.

Are 16 player matches just as mad as 8 player ones?

My friend only owned an N64 and a Wii so he had no GC controllers. Was unaware GC controllers would work but to be fair the game also looked a little jaggy on wii which got annoying. Still I'll give it a go on the HD consoles, see how I go.

Saw this available in stores yesterday - been thinking of grabbing it. I have the Wii version, but again, I didn't like the controls (it was my first Wii game and I simply haven't tried it since getting other controllers - might be something to do tonight).

From what I've seen, it does look like a great re-hash of the old N64 game, though with enough changes/updates to make it something more than just a re-imagining/update. Might pick it up for the 360 next week.

I was semi interested in this as I did enjoy the wii game but £40 seems a bit steep especially given how many other games are around right now. Achievements are also pretty dull, lots of multiplayer stuff that will probably be dead by next month. The graphics are an improvement but not that much of an improvement.
