One of the most atmospheric games ever created. Rubacava at night is just all kinds of amaze especially with that soundtrack.

Yes. It's very good. The final showdown at the greenhouse is spectacular.

Seriously, it's a great game. Plus it's probably one of the PC Point & Click genre's swansongs. :(

Grim Fandango looks awesome! I say looks, because unfortunately I've not been able to play it much - my other half LOVES it and we've been trying to get it to work on Windows 7 or OS X, but as yet the best we've managed is to get a little way into the storyline, then it glitched and jumped ahead in the game - we were gutted! But the graphics, the detail, the writing - it's so worthy of a re-release.

I'm a major Day of the Tentacle and Sam & Max fan, so it's a pretty natural step. :)

I loved it. I played this religiously, alongside Blade Runner (Westwood) and Commandos (Eidos, the first one), and I've got great memories of that time period. It was a great time for point and click on the PC. They really ate up my university time!!

The irony of Grim Fandango as a point and click game, though, is that the game could only be played using the keyboard.

Grim Fandango isn't a point and click game tho....

I'm not a huge fan as I'm not too good with it but I love the art in the game.

Yeah I think they tried to make it appeal to non-clickers at a time when the genre was on its last legs. The slower, more thoughtful games were being replaced by more immediate genres that relied on fast action or intense micro-management. Sad really. Even the Broken Sword franchise fell the same way.

Great games. The genre should make a comeback like the fighting game.

The genre made a comeback ages ago and we are getting decent titles all the time. Just look at the Travellers Tales games, Sam n Max, Back to the Fututre, Monkey Island etc.
