Re: GTA 5 announced
Unless its set in vice city and the aim of the game is to have fun I wont be the slightest bit interested in it.

Re: GTA 5 announced
Love to see Rockstar push the boat way out, do GTA:STEAMPUNK.
But if i was a betting man, i'd be putting money on old location done in newer game engine.

The main ideas based on the logo are LA Gang culture again which to be homes I doubt. Pretty much a remake of San Andreas feels like a strange choice unless they drastically changed all.
Alternative shoutout, as the logo uses a similar font to US money I've seen DC in the current economic crisis mooted. Could work and would give an interesting twist on the series (as long as they find a way to do fun again...). For a change though doubt this'll be day one purchase, was burnt last time...

I can tell you why I have no interest in this using just four words:
Saints. Row. The. Third.

I can tell you why I have no interest in 2 words:
It's crap

I guess that's probably not a very constructive comment to make.

Hey, if it helps break as many PS3s as GTA IV reputedly did then I'm all for it!Mootown wrote:I can tell you why I have no interest in 2 words:

Hurry up and do GTA: International, where instead of going to different islands, you can go to about three or four
countries, imagine doing a load of missions in London, or Paris?
Anyone else struggle to get into GTA 4? I don't know what it was, just never clicked
for some reason.

Re: GTA 5 announced
i did like gta 4 except for the dating, going out for drinks, darts or bowling and if i refuse i'm penalised.i just wanted to do the next mission not pi** about, the same with SA,the dating, gym and gang warfare(also in vcs)rubbish it's just there to add a few more hours to the gameplay,if they drop all this rubbish i would be happy.
i do also like the hidden packages and flying rats it appeals to my ocd side,it wouldn't be bad to see rampages make a return either.

Re: GTA 5 announced
Yeah I bought GTA 4 on its first day and almost immediately regretted it. I ended up with two copies for the price of one too due to a mix up with shipping so it wasn't all bad when I flogged the free copy for £20

It broke mine in 2007, Sony gave me a replacement PS3 to my door two days later.DreamcastRIP wrote:Hey, if it helps break as many PS3s as GTA IV reputedly did then I'm all for it!Mootown wrote:I can tell you why I have no interest in 2 words:

Re: GTA 5 announced
And, as a contrary to what's apparently the "popular" opinion, I greatly prefer GTA IV to the other games in the series, and hated San Andreas. If this is trying to be San Andreas 2, then I'm out.
