Can anyone help id this game ?
Hi
I am going mad trying recall an old game I used to play
I think it was on the playstation 1 but I'm not certain
Its a football (soccer) game and all I can remember is that as part of the commentary
The voice said. Its a rocket and good stop keeper
A bit vague I know but can anyone please help ?
Thanks

I think it is ISS Pro because the commentary comes out with very funny comments like 'this man head has a steel skull' & trying from long distance & the goalkeeper saves it the commentary says ' My granny could had saved this!'

Did it also say 'Let's see that action again?'
Think it was Konami Soccer , or something like that.

It was definately a PS1 game , quite a slow-paced game.
Pretty certain it wasn't Pro-Evo , was earlier than that

No , it was definately a PS1 game. Was it called Goal Rush or something? I'm it was by Konami. The commentator sounded non-British and the commentary highly amusing!

I'm pretty certain that the game you're looking for is Olympic Soccer with commentary from Radio 5 Live's Alan Green.

Re: Can anyone help id this game ?
I've definitely heard him say "It's a rocket" on the Saturn version - I assume the PS version has the same samples.goldenone wrote:I'm pretty certain that the game you're looking for is Olympic Soccer with commentary from Radio 5 Live's Alan Green.

Great commentary by Alan Green , but it's definately not the one I'm thinking of.

it was goal storm in the end after you mentioned it i recognised the title and i remembered a m8 that still had loads of ps1 stuff so i met up with him and he had the game. we played it for a while so not only have i found the game but stirred me up to get in touch with a good m8 i had pretty much lost touch with.
thanks again
