I loved the first Bards Tale, and still have no idea why I not played 2 or 3?

Are they an improvement or more of the same (which is not a bad thing).
I never got on with 3, my mate and I played through 2 several times, and when 3 came out we pooled our cash and ran out to buy it. It looked a lot nicer but it just never clicked.

I've never played BT1

Hmmm, my list would have to be:

Ghosts 'n Goblins (fantastic music score!)
Dragons Lair
Commando
The Last Ninja (all of)
IK+
Elite
Leaderboard
Uridium
Katakis (picked this up dirt cheap just before it was pulled)

This machine was what really got me into gaming as a child. Had lots of games for it like I'm sure many of you did. Some of my absolute favorites:

Nemesis the Warlock
Last Ninja
Commando
Nero 2000
Conan the Barbarian
California Games
Bruce Lee
Snoopy
Sex Games (obviously)
