I initially read this thinking it would be about how the 360 is becoming retro through its Indie games or something. The console itself? That's a joke! I am with the lot of you that the PS1 and N64 just now is becoming retro in my eyes. The Dreamcast is a stretch but I'll allow it. :D

Oh and M$ M$ M$ M$ M$ M$ M$ M$ M$

The 360 is current gen, so it surely can't be classified as retro yet, can it?

I get what OP is saying though, It's been out 5ish years now. Quite a while.

It's funny comparing the likes of Call of Duty 2 & Kameo Elements of Power to the likes of Crysis 2 & Halo Reach

For myself, I have a simple guide for what's retro and what's not for me.

Retro = 2 hardware generations or more old, with no more official first party support for the format
Not Retro = anything not covered above.

Using that guideline, the Playstation, Saturn, N64 and anything older than them are retro, the Dreamcast is borderline (Retro in nature & first party support, but not in generational sorting), and everything newer isn't retro at all.
Where logic won't work, I will
