Firmware Update, and Nintendo had added new games for Streetpass Mii Plaza.

The downside is each game is paid DLC, and there is an error that causes the app to crash, so be warey.

Hmmm, I prefer Fire Emblem but if you're likely to put 100s of hours into Monster Hunter then that's more suited to a digital download.
I'm going to leave my gate open for a short period if anybody wants to drop by, bring fruit (I have cherries and apples).
Edit: Gate closed

Re: 3DS Games discussion/Collecting thread
Downloaded monster hunter 3 last night, looks too complicated for me! But will try and find time to get my head round it... And downloaded little acorn turbo or whatever its called today.. half price. Old school platforming action...
It's funny, after not using the 3ds much, I'm loving it...

As nice as Super Mario 64 DS looked remade on the DS, I can't help but thinking that Nintendo jumped the gun making it for the DS. It would play a lot better on the 3DS with the circle pad. But I guess they just wanted to show that the DS could handle dynamic action games in 3D space.

Re: 3DS Games discussion/Collecting thread
Little warning, my Animal Crossing game crashed this morning while I was on the island, losing me 2 hours of progress. T.T Probably just a one off, but it might be worth saving every so often, just in-case.

Re: 3DS Games discussion/Collecting thread
Haven't had Animal Crossing crash on me, but I did have it happen with Luigi's Mansion 2....right after I beat the first mansion boss, and got back to Professor E.Gadd, it just locked up and everything froze. Only thing I could do was to hold the power button down until the 3DS turned off and then turn it back on.
Luckily the game had autosaved, the save file was still intact and nothing was lost
Just as a rule of thumb though, you should save all games fairly regularly/whenever you can.

Re: 3DS Games discussion/Collecting thread
Been looking at reviews of Animal Crossing (never played it on previous consoles, just looked a mega cute 'The Sims') and the various comments here and thinking...What the Frak?! It's sounds weird, but kind of absorbing
I bought Madden and given it a few goes. The reviews are correct, the content is woefully poor. But the game itself is terrifically playable IMO. It's good for a quick NFL game if you're not too worried about stats, season or career modes. Shame there isn't more, but the game itself is really fun.
