Although I have only a few games for the 3DS I think the backwards compatabililty for it is amazing and I have played a lot of old gameboy/gameboy advance games I missed when they were first released.
I didn't know you could put Gameboy cartridges in a 3DS!?
Lol, I think your probably joking but you can download them of the virtual store, now that I think about it does that even count as backwards compatability? Meh, you can get nes and snes games aswell :).
SNES games are not on the 3DS VC yet, but there's also Game Gears too which got a fresh batch in the week.

Maybe crotea just meant with DS games.

Anyway, lots of 3DS love going on here, do we think Nintendo have turned the 3DS around?

I briefly got to try my bother's 3DS XL and it's a cracking piece of kit, it really is like playing a portable console offering a very high standard of games. Seems to me like Ninty have really outdone themselves, especially with the XL model. And I really haven't noticed much bemoaning the relative lack of grunt and second analogue stick lately, is all forgiven?
No I thought getting games from the virtual store counted as backwards compatability, forget to say it could also play snes/nes games

You can download the roms from the 3DS E-Shop though.
Yeah I was being sarcastic....its not being 'backwards compatible' though is it?
As you've probably already read I didn't know that buying of the virtual store didn't count as backwards compatibilty, sorry to have caused any confusion.

I've added everyone that's listed their code so far! I'll get into the habit of leaving my town gates open. Frustratingly working evenings for the next few days but hopefully I'll get to visit some of you :D

So addicted to animal crossing now. My house has been built (and is due an expansion) my development license is about to be granted and I'm wandering around wearing Majora's Mask!

Not sure what any of you guys have been up to, but I was invited to a rave over at Static's house earlier and offered drugs.

Started my file on Animal Crossing today. A lot of features seems to be initially missing from the Wii one, but i'm assuming these will return as you develop your town?
Anyway, my friend code is 0774 - 4341 - 0425.

My house is a little bare bones for the moment so don't laugh :P

Go to the 3DS main menu (or press the Home key) and then go on your Friend list, you'll be listed on there as well with your Friend Code underneath.

PS. I've added a few of you. I should appear as Haydenade. Or ShadowNeku. I'm kinda confused as to how it all works...

You can add someone provisionally but they won't show or register until they also register your code in return. It's kind of like sending a friend request, except the 'friend' doesn't ever see the request. Awkward yes but not bad by Nintendo standards!

Will definitely add you and anyone I've missed when I'm back home :)
