Again, I agree. The visuals are really poor, they should have stuck with 2D. The gameplay is also a chore - it just feels like you're constantly just climbing back up from where you fall because the level design is awful.Rayne wrote:I also had a go of the Castlevania demo - pretty unimpressed. I loved the various DS iterations but this game plays little like them. Hate the visual style too - dark, dull & dreary.
I've also been playing the new Fire Emblem quite a bit - it's really really good. It actually makes you care about your characters and it's all brought together by a well scripted story line. Probably one of the best 3DS games so far.[/quote]
I was disappointed really. I played the hell out of Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin & Order of Ecclesia on the original DS. Oh well, there's always next time!
Good to hear that you're enjoying Fire Emblem! I've got that one in the 'to play' pile
I' had a go on NSMB 2 clearing the first world. It's exactly what I expected. Tight platforming, inventive level design and a definite 'been there done that' feeling. Can't fault it!
I then played Pokemon Rumble (whatever it's called) and it is absolutely awful. to call it gameplay would be an insult to every other game in existence.
