I know someone that pre-ordered a Wii yesterday in a local PC-World store (not the online PC-World site) He was only their 3rd pre-order.
Might be worth a shot for anyone still hoping to get one tomorrow...

I've had my mail saying it will be with me tomorrow, but no one is in to receive it so I am going to have to pick it up from the depot on Monday :? :(

It's on the PSP's Genesis Collection too :D

Just outta interest, if you have had an email from Currys to say that you've secured a delivery date for 8th December, i'd be interested to know when you pre-ordered.

Cheers

Going online you need one of:

(a) A wireless access point. The wii supports all main security types up to WPA2, although many people have reported that they need to make sure their wireless ap is using channel 11, and is switched to mixed mode (b+g) rather than g only.

(b) The nintendo usb wi-fi adapter used with the ds to get it online.
This is what I use. Simplest option. Trouble free.

(c) the nintedo usb wired adapter (coming soon, apparently)
I've ordered one of these, because I don't trust wireless firmware updates :P
