You know what the rarest 505 game is? Well, Pink Pong obviously. Coincidentally, I have a copy up for sale ;)

I see the fools on ebay are trying to flog rule of rose for £70. The US version is worth bugger all. Its the same with raiden 3 PAL, would probably be cheaper to just buy an import PS2 and games.

Anyone think Metal Gear Subsistence will come down in price when the Metal Gear HD collection comes out? I think it is included, but also with HD graphics. I imagine the same will (has already) happened with the ICO/SoC HD collection as well.

ha yeah, assembler is quite up himself, but I admire the passion! As for Rule of Rose I'm still yet to have anyone find a rarer PS2 game, I have most of the PAL 505 games but Rose was banned, only ever seen two on youtube and I bought one, most of them are "uk Pal rule of rose (gamebox in french, gameplay in english)". As for paying over the odds I agree, I don't think rule of rose will ever be that desirable but I need to complete the ps2 collection and don't mind foregoing eating for a couple of months to buy a game!

I've started going through my old PS2 mags and noticing a lot of games in the previews which were unreleased or I never heard of, I will endevour to list here, you're the only people I can share my love of games with, I don't feel like hiding any game that could be rare for fear the ebay price might go up!

Thanks for the posts!

Why do you keep saying Rose was banned?

Looks like it was cancelled.

What's the most common 505 game? I only have Zoo Puzzle.

They're all common if you're lucky enough to be in a Morrisons store when a 'fresh' ps2 box is displayed. Where i pretty much got all of my 505 games from

I dunno, ps2 jap games are overpriced on ebay, and most jap stores charge a premium... in some cases you're right, but for the majoity stick with pal in temrs of price

If I had £500 to buy games I don't think I'd spend it all on a PAL version of Rule of Rose - it looks rubbish! The box art isn't even that nice.

As with a lot of things, expensive doesn't equal the best.

To be fair though, spending a lot of money on something that's rare makes much more sense
than spending a lot of money on something because the box is nice.
