what retro game are you currently playing ?
lts see if this thread wil sink or swim
there have been a few complaints\mentions that the what are you currently playing thread is mostly concerned with current gen games
so lets see what a retro only based thread will do ( probably nothing )
lets call the cut off point the dreamcast ( and there will be much complaining ) the ps 2 xbox and cube are just last gen
and to kick this thread off im starting ff 7 for the first time in years

Played Road Avenger on the MegaCD last night. I find it really easy when I'm "in the zone", but occasionally I'll get stuck at one bit and just haemorrhage lives until I get past it. Weirdly, it doesn't censored me off as much as modern quicktime events. Maybe it's just the lack of buttons (left, right, accellerate, brake), or perhaps the game is just more forgiving?

Escape From The Planet Of The Robot Monsters.
Spotted it in my Atari ST box yesterday while I was rooting around for Flood. Played it on the ST for a bit today then switched to MAME. The arcade version is a lot harder and the viewpoint seems closer.

Last week I purchased Master of Orion II from Gog.com, I've been playing it on and off all week. I may even add it as a Retrobate if I get a chance.
I also downloaded Tekken 2 from PSN, good times!

If this thread does take off then at least add a capital to the beginning of the thread title
I picked up the Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection just yesterday. Spent ages working my way through all the Golden Axe games and then moved on to Golden Axe Warrior (which really is a fantastic Zelda rip off). Tempted to move onto the Phantasy Star games next.

Yeah snowkatt. Your grammar is so sloppy it makes me wanna punch a wall. Also, the retro bit should be in capitals to avoid confusion with the other currently playing thread

I asked for orange. It gave me lemon lime!

Paradroid, although that's mostly for blog purposes.
Just downloaded Dungeon Keeper from GOG, so I'll be getting stuck into that. And Sim Golf. Always, Sim Golf...
