An original, beautiful-looking masterpiece or a hard-to-control piece of censored?

I liked it. One of my favourite FPS' of the last gen. I'd rather play something like that than another WWII/Middle East FPS anyway.

Loved the little cartoon frames that popped up to accompany throwing a knife into a guard's head

Some sections were bloody hard though.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

Visually awesome. The speech bubble sound effects are way cool. The single player seemed a bit barren for enemies last time I played this but I also tried the online multiplayer for the first time and it was pretty good. Think it was among the first games I played online on my 360. Seems like an age ago.

Bought this for PC on release, it had a nice 3D cut out box.

Thoroughly enjoyed the sh!t out of it and has one of the best stories for an FPS, a cross between Bourne and Bond.

The cliff hanger ending is brutal though, it was begging for a sequel!

Had it for the Gamecube, got stuck, flogged it... now regret doing that. It was pretty decent, and at least an attempt to do something visually interesting with the genre. The plot was decent-ish too. A bit Bourne Identity.

Buggeration.
Thread pops up on a game I haven't thought about in ages and I fancy cranking it up and I've gone and given it away to the lad thinking I'll never need to play it again and he's traded it in years ago for something pish like Eat Lead: The Return Of Matt Hazard or something.

Good grief.

I had this for ages and played it through to completion a couple of months ago, definitely worth playing controls aren't great but not a showstopper by any stretch.

Damn right. I would love to know what happens next. Perhaps a next-gen sequel is in order?

I bought the game around a month ago for £1.00 in CEX and haven't been able to make up my mind about it. It is visually ace and the story is great, but it all just felt a little clunky. Perhaps I should keep it in my collection after all...

Took me a time to get used to the controls but apart from that I really like the game. I've yet to complete it for some reason, most likely got stick somewhere, think I might go back to it now that I've just finished Wind Waker.

I really like the graphics and the story is interesting, also really like the difficulty of the game.
