Re: Batman games
IMO the definitive Batman game is Ubisoft's Batman: Vengeance.
Re: Batman games
Not that I've played loads, but Arkham City is easily the best Batman game I've played, it may not be retro but it's the best.
Pratty's trade list, updated (May 2019)!

Totally this. Never beat it but it was a wonderful looking game with a great puzzle solving style a lot like we saw later in Point n Click gamesthevulture wrote:Great thread!
Loved Batman:Caped Crusader (ocean) on C64-Really captured the comic book feel with the graphical style (comic windows) and mix of fistycuffs and detective work

Re: Batman games
Batman based on the 1989 film for the Amiga. It was iconic and just a really well implemented game, especially considering it was based on a film(and a lot of later film based games weren't that great). Just some really well thought out stages for the game(e.g. the car chases, the platform sections, etc.). Plus, JAMMMMMMMM(yeah, I know that's been mentioned here before) - the little cheat to help you out; everyone seems to remember that.

Re: Batman games
Loved this game though even with the solution out of Amstrad Action magazine I could still never finish it. It's seriously hard.tachi wrote:Totally this.
