When you say Kindle, I take it you mean eReader, so I can get it for my Sony?

Will it be available on Amazon UK in the near future?

EDIT

Just noticed on the site...
For right now it's only on the US store, although I'm told it'll feed over to the UK one "eventually". This happened much quicker than I expected, so hooray! The Kindle version, I'm still working on - it requires a bit more reformatting to look right, plus it needs lots of linking for the table of contents to show up. And since there are easily over 350 different things to link...At any rate, I fixed the link to the preview, which is currently from an earlier draft, so some of the text may have changed slightly, but will give you a good idea to what the interior looks like. I'll be putting up some more adventure game related content shortly, so please keep your eyes open.
Can't decide whether to order from Amazon.com or wait for it to appear on Amazon UK.

El cheapo international postage from Amazon US is only $7.98.

That's only $34.98 = £22.50 total. Not bad at all for a small print run book with international delivery and you'll pay a lot more once it becomes scarce.

Even when using the cheapest postage on Amazon , the DVD I ordered arrived well before the 'approximate delivery date'.

Yeah you're right Ant , the UK cost including p+p really aint so bad.

As for as eBooks, the Kindle is my priority, but I should be setting up with another publisher for a wider variety of formats (Nook, Sony eReader, etc.)

BTW, since this is print-on-demand, it shouldn't be going out of print, unless the publisher somehow goes under. I don't intend on removing it from distribution either.

Its looks pretty cool and seems like it will be a good read even if it does focus on point 'n' click games.

Agreed. Just ordered it with expedited shipping which was only a few extra quid.

Since the US is probably still asleep, thought I'd pop in to post this early. Hope you guys enjoy the book, I contributed a few small pieces and helped with the sub-editing. So if there's any grammar mistakes... blame the other guy. ;)

Anyway, the kindle version is up!

And it's only £7!

My copy has just arrived, but sadly the back corner of the book is completely bent/folded over. Still, looking forward to having a good flick through later on. :D

Posted on the 21st using expedited shipping. I was going to return it until I realised I had to pay the initial shipping costs up front & that I *should* get that refunded.

I bought the Kindle version of this on the day of release and enjoying it so far. Just got too many books on the go at the moment, one of the downsides of the Kindle for me
