Post by deano7649 » Fri Oct 27, 2006 4:07 pm

Just found this, another eBay "rarity".....

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/star-wars-rare-zx ... dZViewItem

£20.00 starting price and not very rare ! Plus the game was total crap if I remember !

Only cost £1.99 brand new back in the day and you can buy it brand new now for £2.99 from UK Retro !!!

lol. Can't blame him for trying.

I get a bit irate at people that just add RARE on their sales and message them.

some of them are ok and remove the "Rare" from the sale claiming that some guy from a booty told them it was rare........

If you wanna know if something is rare, look on eGay, if it ain't on there then its at least slightly rare....

Ive typed in a game name and got 50 hits back, 10 of them with rare in the title...DUH!!

At least it's almost certainly a real factory seal.

The best thing is that his previous purchase was a big bunch of speccy games for the grand total of £22. Including said sealed games! How much of a profit is this nob head after.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0037827843

If he gets the lowest price for the games that he has put back on he will get £469 for his £22 outlay.

I think he will be lucky to get his money back. Bet he has'nt even got a specyy to play em on.

Somebody has made a bid on the Star Wars - Droids tape. I get the feeling that it might be a fake bid, hope no one is silly enough to pay the starting price for that or any of the other software he's selling:

Is this a typo, or is this [USED] game really such a big deal!?

Yeah we've been talking about that Speccy seller over at WOS. Hes written back to say he knows theyre totally overpriced but if he gets one idiot to buy one then hes laughing.

The bid hes got on one of them i'm sure is a fake bid as hes had many people writing to him laughing then 'suddenly' he gets a bid ?!

Have you seen his other items...

http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZparahastasiQQhtZ-1

Talk about a true case of some bloke jumping on the retro bandwagon thinking hes got some great things to sell ! Those Speccy games hes selling at a starting price of 100 pounds, nearly all of them have been sold by other people lately for 99p or 1.99.

Ah well, his money wasted on ebay fees!

Surely he can't call them 'Brand New'. They may be sealed, but they are about 15 years old, so are hardly new!
