Can't remember the first game I played, probably Galaxians or Space Invaders I suspect.

However, the first game I owned was a frogger clone on the Vic 20 by Intercepter - called Frog I think . . .

In fact, I owed the game before I got the computer!
Owned: Vic 20, C64, Amiga, PC, SNES, Dreamcast, PS2, Gameboy, Gameboy Colour, DS, Xbox360, PSP 2000, Wii, 3DSXL, GameCube, N64, JXD S7800.

I'm not sure if I can remember. I think it was some led Space invaders thing in the late 70's.

EDIT: I thought I'd found it, but then I saw another picture & this is DEFINITELY IT! It had 2 game modes, Space Invaders & Breakout.

You've no Idea the flood of memories this picture has brought back. :D

Apparantly it's "Space Invaders/Block Buster" or "U.F.O. Invaders / Block Buster" by either "Sinitron" or "Ramtex" depending on the model. If anyone going to a retro event this year has one please bring it along I'd LOVE another play on it

My first game was Spy Hunter on the Commodore 64 way back in what must have been 1983 or 84. It was in black and white because that was the only TV we had in the bedroom for the first few weeks of owning the system. It wasn't my Commodore though, it was my older brothers machine. I didn't get mine, a C64c (hence the name!) untill a few years later.

Yes back in those days you could buy black and white portable TVs, seems mad now, but it was the norm back then. It didn't take long before my old man bought us a modern Toshiba 14" TV though.

Galaxian for me too. I dunno why it stood out to me in the arcade, but I kinda gravitated towards it. I can't remember how old I was, but I couldn't reach the gun on the operation wolf cab.

My first computer game was probably Night Driver or Jawbreaker on my school's C64s. My first home console game was Exerion on the NES. I played that game to death. It only had like four stages that just looped. Good fun though.

I reckon mine was probably Harrier Attack, as it was the first game I played on our Amstrad CPC (I'm not of that generation, we were just a bit behind the times then!). I'd probably played Pac-Man before that, chances are high, but I can't remember.

As a consequence of being an ageing old so and so I can't remember which game was the first I ever played  ... but it was most likely Asteroids or Space Invaders.

Either Pong on a Binatone console or Gorf in the arcade. Both were quite old at the time I played them though.

First game I bought was Skramble by Rabbit Software for my Vic 20.

That Space Invaders LED thingy looks amazing! Gone straight to Number One on the "wants" list.

First ever gaming thingy... It was either this thing:

or this thing:

Both of which I still have!

The first non-standalone game would be either Gauntlet II or 720* or Rolling Thunder on the Spectrum+2. Nice games, them.

I have no idea what my first game in which I played was.
The first I ever owned was Pure Ride for the GBC.
