Re: Charity Shops
Saw some pS2 fifa games marked up for £4 in my local charity shops. I think that really sums up the state of play.

That's a great find at a great price!
Re: Charity Shops
Charity shops in my area refuse consoles and the only games that seem to get donated are the occasional PS2 game, usually some very common title.
Still its nice to see some people having good luck and fortune out there.

Re: Charity Shops
Totally agree. Even nicer to see some shops not ripping people off just because games are "old".

Have been seeing some Wii stuff too - oddly it gets put in with the kiddies DVDs a lot of the time. Got Goldeneye and Blazing Angels for £2 each. So a good excuse to dig out the Wii at some point.
I also saw 007 Legends for PS3 today, but wasn't sure it was worth £3 - might go back

Re: Charity Shops
Legends is alright, I'd punt £3 at it. It didn't review well as its a fairly generic FPS in a clunky old engine with some dodgy modelling, but it isn't terrible. If you're a Bond fan, it has its moments, since you visit so many people and places from the movies. I enjoyed the brief time I had with it, since it's short. What else can you get for £3 that will beat it? Even if you spend a couple of hours with it and decide it isn't for you, you'll have had your money's worth and can hand it back into the charity shop.

I think I was mainly scared off it by the weird rendering of Daniel Craig on the cover. But it does sound like OK fun for £3Antiriad2097 wrote:Legends is alright, I'd punt £3 at it.
