The game I'll be playing over Christmas is wonderboy 3 monsters lair for the megadrive. The reason it brings back memories is because a few days before Christmas my brother came up to my room and said look what our parents have got us for Christmas so I rushed down stairs to find my dad playing the first boss level on wonderboy 3. His words were " I'm just testing it out to see if it works" lol. we stayed up and watched my dad for what seemed like hours. Ahh the memories

Xmas Nights for sure, and maybe some N64 Diddy Kong Racing (some superb Xmas-ssy music/graphical effects on Walrus Cove) and Banjo Kazooie (Freezeezy Peak is like a giant Xmas themed playground).

I'm well stuck into Dragon Quest 9, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn and Professor Layton and Pandora's Box on the DS at the moment though, so it'll proably be mainly those. With the added bonus that I can stick in a pair of earphones and ignore what's going on around me if any of my family start having a row once Xmas dinner's out the way.

Well haven't half the time recently to play games only the odd but of Bejeweled and Angry Birds on my iPod (boo hiss from retro fans!) but I bought Lego harry potter ps3 for my son as one of his presents so no doubt I'll be playing 2 player game if that at some point! Plus I got my gf a psp with LBP and Crazy Taxi so some of that too! Hmm must get a game of Lemmings in sometime it's been too long!

We don't hate new games (far from it), we just prefer old ones.

Probably lots of the family/party type games on the Wii.

Hopefully get some time to play Black-Ops online, it's always a good time to level up over the Xmas period as there are loads of new players.

Have told people to get me XBLA points so will buy quite a few games from there.

well i KNOW im getting mafia II, RDR and mario 25th anniv. off the 'rents but i also know im getting a record player (finally) so i might stick on 'sounds of rapture' vinyl and redo bioshock. If not that i'll continue my christmas antics of giving lead and tnt gifts to nazis in the saboteur followed by a dusting off of the master system and playing the only console i ever got for christmas (which mum threw out and i recently got another :D)

I should be enjoying several Wii games this Christmas :) As long as Santa honours my list! lol.

Mainly looking forward to Goldeneye 007, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Epic Mickey, Metroid 3 and Super Smash Bros Brawl. Only just got a Wii, so pretty much have every game to experice yet :D Woop Woop.

I really don't know why i left it so late ( oh i do, the almighty Sega has kept me from outside influences lol ), but i owe it to my gamecube craze this year! Had no idea what i was missing in the world of Nintendo!.

I'll definitely be playing an hour or two of Batman (Drummond and Ritman) on my Spectrum +2.

I just got back into it after years of not playing and am totally amazed by how well it still plays today.

After a quick bit of googling I noticed that a remake has just been posted on the Retrospec web site:-

It's a very good conversion, but somehow lacks the atmosphere of the original.

Hopefully Metroid: Other M, g/f should have bought it for me.

Might also play through Lego Star Wars on the DS as it brings back Christmassy memories.
