All of those games hold up really well. I haven't given Super Metroid a go in a while, probably because that game will suck you in for weeks at a time! Secret of Mana is another favourite of mine there, but you're right in thinking you'll have to shell out a few bob for it.

It's not in any particular order. Super Mario World's a definite because it's only about £10. The others all tend to be £20+ so I would buy maybe 3 of them.

I assume you mean £20 for boxed copies. Otherwise you're not shopping around enough... ;)

There's a place in Manchester that has some of those games cart-only for around a tenner each and I'd say that's expensive tbh. However if you're willing to pay that then I'd be happy to pick them up for you.

Soulblazer is probally my most played SNES game. I've finished it more than once on the SNES, multible times on emulation and 1 runthrough on my PSP before it died. I'd definatly reccomend getting a US cart and adapter or rom and play. It was my first RPG ever and my favorate.

Cool. Sounds like I should take a look. And while I'm at it, I might check out of Illusion of Time (or Gaia) at the same time. Looks as though the carts are relatively cheap too.

I'd recommend Desert Fighter. I think most dismiss it as a poor Desert Strike clone but IMO it's much better, save for some dodgy story twist toward the end, but also different enough to warrant owning both. It's also cheap.

I have most of these on boxed original on the Super Famicom

Super Metroid is still brilliant, the GBA Mission is even better
Mario World my friend plays this every Sat and he's almost got all 96 worlds unlocked personally I hate it
Secret of Mana is brilliant lost days to this
Super Castlevania starts of really slowly but gets much better, one of the best Castlevanias
Contra 3 is way to hard Megadrive one is better

Also add thats worth getting
As Stranger says Shadowrun is fab playing this at the moment stuck on the Jester Spirit
Ninja Warrors Again miles better than the arcade and loads of moves
Umihawa Kawasai puzzle game probally spelling it wrong
Wild Guns expensive but brilliant
Hagane
Rushing Beat Run and Shiro
Kikikaikai 2(Pocky and Rocky 2) much easier than the first game
Ghost Hunter Mikado easy but very good platform game

I can't seem to get past that Giant Skeleton that pulls the Airlock open.. My and my friend did complete it doing the Konami code for the lives.. Watching the You Tube speed run they make it look easy
