OK, I know it's probably not very rare, but look what I found on Ebay

When did this come out? I've always been a huge fan of the first game, cannot wait for this to arrive.

You've got to be kidding me.

I flogged a boxed copy of that for about £2 after taking some advice online which said it was worth bugger all.

Agreed, they sold chuff all copies so it is quite rare, but the reason they sold chuff all is because it's crap. Hence why it's still worth nowt! :D

I think with the Snes quite a few games are common, but are just still highly sought after which drives the prices up.

A great deal of Konami games get high prices still when complete, Sunset Riders, Turtles, Castlevania(s), Adventures of Batman & Robin.

Games off the top of my head that can go for top prices...
Super Turrican 2
Super Bomberman 3 (Pal) usually gets good money, I know they released 4 & 5 In japan too.
Big Box versions of Super Metroid, Yoshi's Island.
Megaman X2 & X3
Wild Guns
Pirates of Dark Water
Aero Fighters is rock hard to find
WANTED: ANY SNES or GAMEBOY GAMES, OR EMPTY BOXES, INSTRUCTION MANUALS or WHITE INNER TRAYS, going for FULL SETS of both.

Even the original version of Turrican on the MD is worth a bit. And the Amiga versions (more specifically, the big box original relelases)
Meanwhile, back on topic....

Is that the one with the players guide? I got mine free with my SNES many moons ago. Haven't played it in years.
JSW's Guff Emporium! <- My bit of t'internet.

Well, that's reassuring. I can also confirm that the game is absolute pish, hence why I sold it.

No, definitely Dirt Racer. I have a copy of Stunt Race FX, but I haven't sold that because it's... y'know... good.

The PAL version of X3 is really rare and usually goes for quite a bit when complete versions pop up and to a lesser extent so are MMX2 and Megaman 7.

I think the PAL version of Castlevania Vampires Kiss is pretty tough to get as well.

Dracula X (aka Vampire's Kiss) Is pretty rare, though it's obtainable. Found a copy mangled on ebay recently for $20 but didn't buy it.

Rondo of Blood is even more rare for PC Engine but it's been ported enough that it remains a collector's item only due to the fact that the medium itself is rare.

Rarest Castlevania game I own is the one for the Sharp XV68000 or whatever. Kid Dracula is also near impossible to find boxed. Seriously, I've scowered the web for years and can't find it for a tolerable price.

Anyways, onto other SNES games.

Mario RPG, Chrono Trigger, FFIII (six), Mega Man X3 and X2, Final Fight 2 and 3, and Dracula X all go for high numbers, especially boxed.

Isn't a PAL version of Terranigma worth it's weight in gold due to how rare it is? I never owned a SNES so I'm not too informative on this topic!
