Yep. That's exactly what I was thinking.

A fiver per head?

Not very funny Opa, I thought you were more mature than that. What I meant was what was the adress of the arcade so I can look it up

Take a chill pill dude.... 8)

On a more serious note though Sega2006 if we do manage to get a meet sorted for us lot I'm not sure it would be fair on us for you to bring loads of your "mates" down with you...
Maybe one other friend who is also a gamer, but when 16 year olds start to say they want to bring "a few mates" with them, arcade owners tend to get a bit nervous..

retro meets either turn out like that record collector party in ghost world or because of the lack of women a warm day on a navy ship

The one friend was what I was Intending, or a 2nd if he would be allowed as he has stricter parents than I do. The bigger problem is the distance from home in case somthing goes tits up or we manage to irritate the wrong person

Well in that case the arcade is in North Wales...

Didn't you say none of your mates had the same interests?

None bar 3 have anything near the same intrests as I do. 1 would mess around with an N64 if there was one but would ony come if there were newer games on freeplay as well, Ant (not the one you lot know) has a MD and MS but has a minor problem of being a year younger and stricter parents than mine and last but not least Nath, would play some games if they intrested him but he is censored scared of trains and smells bad

ROFLMGDAO!!!!   This has got to be one of the most unintentionally HILARIOUS threads I've ever had the pleasure of reading!

As for the trip, I'm definately on for it. Freeplay would be the way to go (don't fancy having to carry about £50 of 10ps around all day!) and a door-fee of a fiver sounds spot on. I'm getting quite excited about this - few hours blasting away on some great cabs then off for "lunch" down the pub(s) and a few more hours of arcade action before a full-on night out with beer, tequila, kebabs and strippers! Bring it on!

Amen to that, can't think of a much better way to waste a weekend....

Although I'm sure Sega2006 is not allowed out after dark so might have to leave him behind when we go for the full on night on the town.... :)

Surely he can take his PSP with him - he can then follow us around each and every pub and sit on the outside step playing Tapper.

He's probably the only under 18, we'll just go in a proper pub.... which he won't find because he's asking random strangers how far they are from the train station.
