Um? "South"ampton?

Clue : Direction from Watford is not one of the following "North" "East" "West" "Up".

Sigh

Let me explain it very clearly for you Dudley. I know that this one is in "South"hampton - as a previous post clearly stated I might be able to make it if it was on the south coast. The post you quoted above was in response to woody.cool's post - the one just before mine - where he is asking if there is an equivalent in the north. I was just stating that all of the previous meets I had heard of / been invited too were usually stationed further north and I was quite happy to hear of one being in the south for once.

Is that OK? Did you get that? Should I PM you an explanation of all my posts in the future?

Honestly, it was bad enough you falsely accusing me of owning an Amstrad...

I don't know about you lot, but I often have things planned a fair way in advance.

Would it not be better to have the meet sometime early next year (Jan/Feb perhaps?). That way it'd give people more notice, and a better chance of getting as many people along as possible who are able to make the date decided on by the masses.

What do others think?

I was going to say the same thing. Early next year would be best for me, but if it's decided to do something this side of Christmas I'll see if I can cmoe down for a day. My problem is that my weekends are pretty stacked most of the time so if I don't get something planned up in advance the chances of me making it are slim. Still, fingers crossed. Really like the sound of this meet.

A date in the new year is fine with me too. The more people we can get down the better. So, suggestions for a date then. Lets start with the month. January or February?

Either's good for me. How about early Feb? It gives us chance to get things planned, and is also good for those awaiting the first payday after Christmas.

If it is feb then I might even book a few days away with the missus and come along.
