What's everyone playing at the moment?

I'm playing some:

Gradius 3 - SNES NTSC. For the Retro Gamer shmup league

Mushihimesama HD - 360. Beautiful port

Sengoku Aces 3 - PSP. Ok if a bit bland

don't need to google to knows its Radirgy. The name definately comes to mind.

Great game. Insane though in the later levels
The 360 port of the sequel Radigy Noa is lovely too. I really didn't like the original all that much till I played the sequel to death!
wow, didn't even know their was a sequel. Woulod love to play it, but don't want to pay an arm and a leg for it.

I returned to Beat Hazard Ultra on iPhone this week. Still one of the best games I have for the system as the controls actually work and don't get in the way (much). A great way to listen to music on the train.

I feel like asking another shmup related question of you chaps:

What do you feel is a really underrated shmup?

Layer Section for me probably, absolutely love it. Best Saturn shmup imo.

Disclaimer: I haven't played RSG much. ;)

Also Darius Gaiden.

Both are inexpensive but excellent imo.

ermmm it's good but it's a bit lacking on single player perhaps. Really comes alive in multiplayer but you need additional folk with a Japanese 3DS console...it doesn't do online multiplayer :( Looks really awesome though. Quite slow.

thundercross recieved a middling review in c+vg i seem to remember, but i think the game is pure class. thundercross 2 not so much.

pop n twinbee and gradius 4 seems to get some stick, but i really like both of thise titles.

was playing rtype 3 last night. i think this and the original arcade rtype are the best in the series for me. not that rtype 3 is underrated, i think delta and final are overrated but by no means bad games.

interesting - always wondered what blast wind was like. most people seem to steer clear of it.

how does it play (what game is it most like?)

also i liked arrow flash and steel empire on the MD but both of these had poor reviews.
