ROB was not the first computer robot, far from it.
There were various ones for several home computers before him. I remember playing a game with a BBC Micro one at school.

You know I don't hold back!
Besides the rest of that article seems to be stretching the facts somewhat anyway so I guess it fits in well.
When I think of ROB I think of this:

Slowly starting the ball rolling for issue 3! Be interested to hear what anyone would like to see articles wise

We had 66 pages for issue 2 and our designer wants to expand this to 100 for issue 3, he loves a challenge!

Wow, this has fallen way out of site. Just too damn busy these days with all the PN stuff but I'll always do my best to keep the site going. I've just added another scanned issue of Total!:

It takes hours to do each of these, keep in mind they are around 100 pages a time!

I walked away from retro gaming and PN sometime back. Had no takers to run the NES-Bit site after several months so it will be deleted as of today as the contracts run out, but seems a shame to lose the magazines after all the work that went into them. They were originally meant to help keep the site going rather than beg for donations, sadly that didn't work out. However you can download both mags here:
NES-Bit Volume 1 -

NES-Bit Volume 2 -
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/41238723/NES%20 ... ol%202.pdf
The site will close in 24 hours, so if someone still wants to take it over they can log in to take a full backup. Need to be quick though as I'm deleting the lot. So long guys and thanks for all the fish.

I just wanted to wish you the best of luck mate, I know we've had our differences in the past, but I always hate to hear about someone as passionate as you where on this subject to set off into the sunset, and I hope your doing the right thing and that maybe someday you'll return to all of this, allot of things have happened amongst a few of us here, and it's a real shame , things turn out the way they do, but I'm glad I settled all my differences with you before you left, and simply want to say, it's been fun both working with you and the chats we had in the past, The Retro Community is losing a decent member.
Take care
Darren.

Thanks man and good luck with the book! Already had someone offering to rehost the articles/content so with any luck it won't all vanish.
