I'm sure some of you have seen plenty of examples of Hama bead sprite art so I've done a short article on how to make it, with a video showing a guide and some examples:

Happy to help out if you can wait until I have a spare weekend to myself (been quite busy of late)! I've well over 100 boxed NES games, almost all with manuals and most in good condition.

Or PM me if it was just certain games you needed photos of, I can sort that out a bit quicker.

Hey there :) I'm sure Adam/Cauterize has talked to you about this on some retro event or another but we are always looking for scans of boxed games for RetroCollect too, especially NES :) Not to mention that it would be great to see you on our forums too ;)

Just added another review :D This time its for Parasol Stars: Rainbow Islands 2. Interesting because Ocean wanted to try combining Bubble Bobble & Rainbow Islands to come up with something new:

As always I have a lot of games that need reviews so if anyone fancies giving me a hand then drop me a line.

Happy to say that Ste Pickford who has appeared in RG quite a few times, agreed to do an interview for the site about his time in the industry. As well as letting us show off a new trailer for his upcoming game Magnetic Billiards:

Wow been a month since I posted an update! Had a few good things since the interview, just posted a Super Mario review today:

http://www.nes-bit.com/?p=4402

One of the aims of the site is to have a review for every NES game ever released in the UK so I had to get round to Mario eventually!

Have also added another volume to NMS magazine:

http://www.nes-bit.com/?page_id=3690

In other news I managed to pick up 5 missing issues of Club Nintendo (cost a ruddy fortune!). I've started scanning each of these and will be hosting them soon as always, amazing thing is I'm only 7 issues away from a complete set of the mag :D

For those witha thing for cavemen I went so far as to write up a review for Trog:

http://www.nes-bit.com/?p=4370

So content galore. As always I am still looking for writers so if anyone fancies doing a review or even an article then drop me a line :)

Time for another review. Bit of a hidden gem this, pretty rare on eBay too so most NES folk won't bother but it's well worth a gander. This week it's Street Gangs (or River City Ransom as its called in the US):

Well its been awhile since I posted an update but have plenty more content to show off :P First up is Nintendo's clash with the education market. Is it a game or just a bad idea?

http://www.nes-bit.com/?p=4451

I've also posted a few updates to the magazine section, nearing a full set of Club Nintendo now and I have the most complete set available! As always I'll be posting a lot more as time goes on so please bookmark the site and keep an eye on it :)

Short and sweet update today but added a brand new, high quality scan for another issue of Club Nintendo. As always its not available anywhere else, determined to get the full set.

Yep. Feel free :) I actually posted a Youtube vid about the cart I bought many moons ago:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uixv6ZoNZso

Also have a homebrew section on the site which currently has a review of Zelda Outlands and the PowerPak:

http://www.nes-bit.com/?p=218
http://www.nes-bit.com/?p=3021

I've also been in contact with a couple of folk who have done some pretty big homebrew games in the past 2 years. Can't say anymore but interviews are inbound to the site soon :)
