Shadowman, surely? Ask Shadowman. Or that one with all the Street Fighter III stuff... The Shend, is that his name?

I dunno...I thought YOU'D be good with your collection of handhelds and related stuffTwoHeadedBoy wrote:Shadowman, surely? Ask Shadowman. Or that one with all the Street Fighter III stuff... The Shend, is that his name?

I'd do it but mine's crap tbh, just scattered across too many different formats and my Darkstalkers collection isn't big enough to be 'impressive' yet.
Plus I can't photograph for hell - it's why I passed on appearing in the next LAP. Took loads of pics and deleted them all in disgust

Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.
Re: Collector Needed
Here's my entire collection of retro games, you can stick that in the mag if you like!

Re: Collector Needed
Good point... I'd want to wait until the Game Axe arrived though. Would that be too late? And I'm bidding on another special thing at the moment. Not saying anything yet, in case people suddenly go crazy for it and outbid meMegamixer wrote:I dunno...I thought YOU'D be good with your collection of handhelds and related stuffTwoHeadedBoy wrote:Shadowman, surely? I've got a sizeable collection of stuff, but a lot of it is boxed up like the_hawk's at the moment, wouldn't really make for good magazine pics

Sig pic temporarily removed...The Magnificent 7 will ride again

Re: Collector Needed
I have thousands upon thousands of retro games including a retro room dedicated to them as well as records old video game books etc. I don't know if you have seen the tower of power, but that's just part of my collection. I also have other disc based systems/games in another room and in the living room I have a full sized arcade and newer consoles. How many pictures are you looking to show off?
Here's the Tower of Power a few months back

And here's a picture of my arcade before the new controls got added.

Re: Collector Needed
I'm the same. I tend to collect for many different formats, and so don't you wouldn't say I have complete collections of anything - all a bit fractured.ToxieDogg wrote:I've got a sizeable collection of stuff, but a lot of it is boxed up like the_hawk's at the moment, wouldn't really make for good magazine pics![]()
I've a silly amount of stuff mind. As a collection it impresses, but its not quite good enough I feel for the mag.
I am aiming to go to town on the DS though. Having analysed the format its perfect for me to collect 200-300 games for it alone. Be a few years though!
Nintendo DS games: 41
Re: Collector Needed
Yeah I think Shadowman deserves a feature in the mag as he has an insane amount of Mega Man stuff, it's pretty cool.

Re: Collector Needed
I'd love to have my collection featured in the mag. Only problem I have at the moment is with the photo's of my collection - I've never been able to take big group shots of the collection (no more than 6 games to an image usually) otherwise the images come out blurry or just plain bad!
