Our very own Mr "Ismellicecream" has brought out a game for Android devices & it's a lot of fun indeed.
Patient Zero: Day One - You play the role of the Zombie & must feed on brains to stay alive. It's got the top-down viewpoint like the early GTA games & a nice control system.
I really enjoyed it, it's free & I think it would be nice if we all downloaded it & gave him some support in his first Android/iOS release.
It can be downloaded from here...
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... VGames.p00
Also available on iOS, download here...
https://itunes.apple.com/app/patient-ze ... 79802?mt=8

Re: Post your Android games here?
Hi all
Amazing to look at this thread and see that the first few posts in it are retro themselves. I would not have believed, playing on my flaky LG phone back in 2010, that in the next five years we would see full blown PC/console games such as the Shadowfall and XCOM, to say nothing of the impressive NVidia Shield. Talking of which, it probably falls between a few too many stools for me to plop down what is likely to be pushing £200 for. A handheld version would go down very well though (and who would bet against that in the not too distant future?)
However, the game I've been playing most recently on my phone has been Twenty - a game which would not even trouble a machine as modest as my good old Commodore 64. Just goes to show how effective a good, basic idea can be.

Good call on Twenty, I've just managed to get to 14, while Mrs Ant reached 13 on her first go on her iPad. This is the sort of game she hammers me at.

Downloaded it but not played it yet. My tablet's getting a bit old and slow so have to be selective about what games I install. May actually re-install Pocket Planes.psj3809 wrote:^Huge hit on iOS. Not my cup of tea but seems to be very very popular

Top marks to Tescos
Bought a Hudl 2 about 18 months ago, daughter must have jammed the power lead in as you couldnt recharge it (think the power socket in the hudl was pushed back too far). Contacted Tescos, 12 month warranty obviously gone. Explained the problem, they arranged for a courier to pick it up (free of charge), fixed it (free of charge) and got it back 4 days later totally working.
Result. Dont see that that often !
