atari jaguar problem

Post by xombie_shane » Mon Apr 26, 2010 4:27 pm

hi i got a jaguar with tempest 2000 and cybermorphs and i think there is a problem with the sound, with tempest 2000 there is no music and with cybermorphs the face doesn't talk (which could be a good thing). i was wonder if this has happened to anyone else or are the games ment to be this way or is there was way to fix it, i have pal verson of the jaguar but i dont think that matters.
so if anyone could help that would be great.

Never mind all the fuss with 360s and their red lights - these must be the most crappily made consoles....

With one of the worst rf signals and very crappy cartridges......

Even though they have great games, they must rate as the most unreliable

Have you tried cleaning the carts ?

I have just bought a replacement jaguar and as soon as I have some more cash I will be ordering a scart cable, just so I dont have to use the terrible rf signal.....

This might also help you ...

I aint an expert though

I have never ever known a Jaguar to go wrong (except for people using the wrong PSU!) and I come into contact with hundreds.

Sounds to me like you need to turn the sound back on. Either press the 0 during the game or if that dosn't work pause the game then hold each of the 3 buttons (A,B,C) and volume bars will come up for music, effects and voices etc. that you can just turn up.

Yeah probably a good thing about he voice not talking. Have a look here at what you're "missing"

That being said, get some AV/SCART cables anyway, regardless of the problem. You'll never look back.

Then like I said you need to pause it and hold each button down in turn to adjust the sound, music and voices.
