Strider 2 (Playstation) :Recived an 80% score in PLAY magazine:Worth buying for the original game, they said.Another good score for US Gold`s version:87% for speccy ver. in YS ' Bigger, better, more colourful sequel to strider' they said. Back to conversion of original:The Master system version? Scraped a 60% score in Sega force, seems game is pretty weak too easy at times-Long streches of only 1 solider on screen, chronic slow down when screen gets busy)Boss fights),poor controls leading to frustration and only 5 levels.

C64 Strider: 42% in Zzap64 'A Pallid shadow of the real thing'.Nice sprites, poor backgrounds, Lots of lives but crippling time limit.Game lacked lot of the coin op`s villians, could only avoid, not destroy robot guns, your droid no longer fired bullets and big confrontation at end of 1st level? Now missing.

Played a few, but in my opinion, the MD version is best.
I was amazed how similar it was to the arcade one back in the day, it was a little bit better in my opinion.
