For me its got to be street fighter 2.
I used to love going to the arcades but this is one game that made my jaw drop as i had never seen graphics like that backed up with some amazing playability and music.
fantastic game and still in my top 10 games ever.

Not the best by any means, but I really loved P.O.W. it was a Double Dragon esque side scroller but you could pick up guns. I spent LOADS on it.

It’s relentless, brash, crass, flashed like a fruit machine and is drippin in nods/winks to the nihilistic 1980’s inspired apocalyptic hells portrayed in films like Running Man and Robocop – It’s gameplay is also a bit retarded, but I LOVED and still love Super Smash TV.........what else....

Final Fight….I can’t be the only person to have loved this

I'm going to pick the hydraulically-powered sit-down coin-op version of Sega's Space Harrier -- I'm not a huge fan of the game itself, but the arcade experience made it something special and I wasn't tempted to keep dropping coins in until I finished it. The home versions, even the recent emulations of the original, are all necessarily watered-down in comparison -- they give up the coin-op's physical experience and challenge.

Green Beret.

When I was a kid it seemed cool and incredibly violent, now it seems twee and incredibly silly.
I still love it though.

I'm sure nobody else will agree with me and I don't care.
Why retro? Because you never forget your first love.

I'm going with Splatterhouse, ghosts n' goblins, wonderboy and Outrun as all 4 were in a row in my local arcade when I was a kid and I spent many a 10p on them...

The original TMNT had an awesome atmosphere. Back in the day a lot of arcade gamers were fans & many friendships begun over that game. It had the added advantage of everyone knowing the characters however, something Street Fighter 2 didn't have but that's another one that made me think "WOW"

1942, Bomb Jack and Pac Land probably got more 10p`s off me than any other games, but the one that made my miserable face smile was easily

Virtua Racing........
